Arus Gelap
Follow four leads along the coast to the raiders' stronghold.

Arus Gelap
A supply boat is two days late, and raiders are taking boats and cargo all down the coast. Arus Gelap starts wherever you find it: Encik Rahman's job at the Kuala Besut jetty, or any of its places and people. Since v0.53 its four leads can be followed in any order, and each can be done more than one way.
- The old landing. Up the river path to Hulu Besut: Pak Salleh at the surau, Yusof, who swam for the reeds, and the raiders' camp at Pangkalan Terbiar. On the marked crates by the water, the supply boat's manifest and an iron bracket; Din, its mate, tied to a post. Encik Rahman reads the manifest, and Pak Leh knows the iron.
- The Setiu road and the lagoon. Jali takes a toll at Sekatan Jalan; a forest track and Pak Seman's ferry go round him. Beat him and his ledger goes to Encik Rahman, who mends the crossing with the iron. In Kampung Setiu, Tok Penghulu Hassan and Mariam the boatbuilder; out at Kem Bakau, the crews in a cage, their gear in a chest, and Awang Sura on the walkways.
- The harbour at Kuala Terengganu. Encik Kamal keeps the harbour book; Saudagar Hamid buys from every village. A locked warehouse, Awi the porter, Zainal the clerk and his two books, and Gudang Muara outside the gate.
- Kubu Kuala. Nakhoda Bakar's stockade, on every boat's list from the start, marked hostile.
Evidence. Four things name Bakar: the manifest, Jali's ledger, the freed crews' word and Hamid's own ledger. With any two, Encik Rahman or Encik Kamal calls the watch of Kuala Besut to Kubu Kuala; if Setiu's boats are home, Mariam brings them too, and picks you up at Kuala Terengganu's harbour. Or go alone: lift the inner gate's bar yourself, with nobody behind you, and face Bakar on his jetty.
Reward: once Bakar is taken, Encik Rahman's letter, RM 150 and 400 XP each in Attack and Defence. He tells it from what you actually did, and says what is still open on the coast; the other leads can be finished afterwards. A save from before v0.53 carries on where it was.
